
LafCarr Project & Design installed an Acoustic Warning System in Torre Valentina's beach in Sant Antoni de Calonge. This project was carried out in collaboration with the City of Calonge, with the pilot is to create a completely new and different sector of today. It will allow playback of messages in several languages in high quality and considerable power. In the future it will integrate an intercom system, television cameras and a led panel.

The Acoustic warning System is based on a siren, emergency room and control center which is monitored by remote control through PMR as principal communication channel and GPRS as secondary communication channel.
LafCarr has been elected by Federal Signal Vama in order to develop the engineering, managing and start-up of the Acoustic warning System for Emergency Plan of "Presa de la Breña" situated in Cordoba.
The Acoustic warning System is based on a group of sirens, monitored by remote control through PMR as principal control channel and GPRS has secondary control channel.
LafCarr has been elected in order to make installation of the Acoustic warning System of Banyoles’ lake.
The Acoustic warning System installed allows remote control. In emergency situations it reproduces a group of tones with voice messages pre-recorded in 4 different languages in order to inform the swimmers about the risk.
LafCarr has participated in the Conference organized by Federal Signal Vama about “Acoustic warning System for Emergency Plan in case of Flood Risk in Dams”, in Madrid, the 18th January, 2007.
The conferences were divided in three parts or topics and finally a debate to discuss the conclusions.
Finally on the debate we appreciated the constructive result of the conferences and the good organization welcomed by all the participants.
LafCarr and Gerona’s University have signed a cooperation agreement for the whole development of an informatic application able to control and manage the IP dynamics connections in several equipments.
The Communication Platform will be in GPRS, but with capacity to emigrate to other types depending on the versatility of each one of them.
LafCarr has been elected for the draft report of the Technical Project and development of the TDT Transmitter Center in Santa Mª de Martorelles.
Thanks to LafCarr’s engineering, we have calculated all the necessary data in order to design a coverage network able to fulfill the statutory quality requisites. We retransmit 4 multiplex with capacity to amplify to 6 multiplex in the future.
We use the ISOFREQUENCY System and the coverage will be limited to Sta. Mª de Martorelles. We also give advice about the transition period and the system transfer from analogical reception to the new digital system.
The final result is an Isofrequence TDT Transmitter Center with 4 multiplex capacity and possible amplification to 6. It is also possible to install aerials for 65 houses.
LafCarr gives advice to all City Councils of the “Consell Comarcal de la Selva” on the draft report for a local TDT.
The draft report lies in identifying the main requisites when achieving the migration from Analogical Local Television to Digital Television.
