We have developed the Acoustic Warning System for SEVESO risks in collaboration with the Basque Government.

We installed 54 sirens with sensor networks to cover both the PPI and POI perimeters in petrochemical-affected areas in Lantarón (Álava), Puerto de Bilbao, Muskiz, Alónsotegui (Vizcaya), and Hernani (Guipúzcoa).

The installation includes 4 control centers in “112/S.O.S.” buildings, 1 telemaintenance center, and 5 local activators in each affected polygon.

Communication is done through Radio PMR and GPRS/3G. We support the system with the Lafcarr edition of COMSIR’s SCADA software, providing telecontrol. This comprehensive approach ensures a prompt and effective response to SEVESO risk situations in the petrochemical polygons of the Basque Country.
