Warning sirens
Warning sirens to the population for outdoors areas, with effective warning ranges from 400 to 1000m. Designed to resist outdoors, they have capacity for emission of tones and pre recorded messages, also equipped with redundant communication canals in order to achieve the most strict functioning expectations. They also have a battery system with autonomy for at least 4 days. They can be fueled both from the electric network and solar panels, and their versatility allows for them to be installed in existent locations, as well as any other type of column.
Directional sirens
Lafcarr-Federal’s DSA sirens produce intense warning signals and voice messages which are perfectly intelligible within more than 450m distances. Their efficient design is capable of producing a high level of sound with a relatively low fuel consumption. It is made up of directional electronic speakers, and thus their capacity for configuration is what makes possible the adaptation to any kind of installation and environment.
Omnidirectional sirens
The “Modulador” sirens from Lafcarr-Federal can send out intense warning signals and also voice messages that are perfectly intelligible at more than 450m distances. Their efficient design is capable of producing a high level of sound with a relatively low fuel consumption. It is made up of directional electronic speakers, and thus their capacity for configuration is what makes possible the adaptation to any kind of installation and environment.
UVTD closet
UVTD module is an electronic closet formed by two resistant units, totally isolated from the environment. The superior part is composed by amplifiers, the CPU and the communications module, for the managing and intelligent control of the sirens. The inferior part contains the support batteries, which offer a complete autonomy in the system for a whole week, in case of fuel loss.
UVLC
The UVLC unit is formed by an INOX covering, resistant and totally isolated with an IP67 water tightness. In its core is the CPU, the amplifier modules, the communications module, the support batteries (designed for a week’s autonomy in case of fuel loss), the redundant communications and it optionally allows for the incorporation of a touch screen panel for the total activation of the sirens’ network, may it be by areas or individually.
MOBILE ROOM
In Lafcarr Project & Design we have gathered our clients’ necessities and we have designed a mobile center for the management of emergency plans. It complies with the requirements of both communications and functionality of execution of the Emergency Plan, in compliance with the convention of the National Comission of Civil Protection of 16/12/2003, which offers the possibility of using mobile emergency rooms in small reservoirs and without permanent maintenance staff.
The mobile emergency room is a briefcase which contains all that is necessary in order to carry out the monitoring and execution of an emergency plan. The resources and services that it offers are equivalent to those of a conventional emergency room.
The current legislation establishes that reservoirs and dams which are classified as type A or B must have the support of an emergency room so that it can carry out the execution of the plan. In some cases, dams or reservoirs do not count on a physical emergency room and therefore cannot keep their resources.

In Lafcarr Project & Design we design control centers for emergency management, equipped with all the necessary for the monitoring and execution of an emergency plan.
The rack for emergency room or control center is a communication system, completely set to manage the emergency plan in its entirety. It is made up by different elements, such as: server, telephone exchange, call recorder, SCADA remote control, communication canals for public bodies and acoustic warning systems.
Local control panel
The local activator or control module allows the activation of pre recorded messages and/or the using of sound systems in real timing. It has an intuitive touch screen interface, which can manage and activate the whole sirens’ network.
Specially designed for its installation in emergency rooms, the device has been used successfully in infinity of projects, such as civil protection and maritime rescue.
