Lafcarr will carry out the development and implementation of an Earthquake and Tsunami Monitoring and Alarm System (ETMAS), an alert management software designed to provide an immediate and efficient response to seismic and tsunami events.
This innovative technological solution will allow for the real-time assessment of potential impact on Lima Airport in case of risk, utilizing geographical data and automated event alerts.
In case of emergency, the ETMAS will activate various airport control systems, including gates, public address systems, and information panels, ensuring a quick and coordinated response to any critical situation.
The system is based on the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) and integrates with multiple APIs of existing systems at the airport, guaranteeing smooth and effective communication among all involved platforms.
This ambitious project not only involves the development of the software itself, but also its integration into highly available virtualized servers and the implementation of backup measures to always ensure continuous service.
