It consists in a total of 95 sirens with chlorine and gas sensor networks, permanently telecontrolled from the control centers in Tarragona, Barcelona, and Bellaterra.

The telecontrol and plan management system is accessible from any location within the Generalitat de Catalunya network (firefighters, civil protection, municipalities, etc.).

The installation is located in the petrochemical complex of Tarragona (with 28 chemical companies such as REPSOL, VINIL, BAYER MATERIAL SCIENCE, BASF), in the Port of Barcelona, and in other SEVESO risk zones.

This comprehensive approach ensures an efficient and coordinated response in SEVESO risk situations in Catalonia’s industrial zones.
