Acoustic Warning System for SEVESO Risk in Torrelavega – Government of Cantabria
SCADA COMSIR software is used as the main tool for remote control and system supervision.
We implemented an Acoustic Warning System for SEVESO risk in collaboration with the Government of Cantabria in the municipality of Torrelavega.
The project includes 4 omnidirectional electronic sirens with redundant communication systems, 2 weather stations, and 2 control centers located in Torrelavega and Santander.
It uses SCADA COMSIR software by Lafcarr as the main tool for remote monitoring and automatic system management. The goal is to ensure coverage of both PPI (Internal Protection Plan) and POI (External Protection Plan) perimeters in each affected zone.
This comprehensive approach guarantees an efficient response in SEVESO emergency scenarios in the region of Torrelavega.
