The tasks related to the development and implementation of the emergency plan for the El Cañuelo and La Redonda reservoirs in Almería were carried out in January 2015.

The installation includes 3 electronic acoustic warning sirens strategically placed for optimal coverage in nearby populations, as well as 1 mobile emergency room, an exclusive design by Lafcarr Project & Design that facilitates the monitoring and execution of emergency plans.

Communication is conducted through Radio PMR and TETRA, along with GPRS/3G. The software used is Lafcarr Project & Design’s COMSIR, enabling the automatic maintenance of resources in dams and reservoirs, remote control of devices, and emergency plan management.
