An advanced alert system was developed to improve safety against floods at the Mequinenza, Caspe and Los Moros dams, strategic locations between Aragón and Catalonia. This emergency plan is part of a comprehensive civil protection strategy to reduce hydraulic risks and protect the population.

The project included the installation of 17 electronic sirens, installed on columns and key sites, using redundant communication technology. In Aragón, GPRS systems were deployed, while in Catalonia a combination of GPRS and TETRA radio was used to ensure maximum coverage and reliability.

This intervention, carried out by Lafcarr Project & Design for the client Endesa, strengthens emergency response capacity and guarantees a rapid, efficient and coordinated action.
